Howth Yacht Club – North Star
Boat Description
On Saturday 22nd March 2025, Howth Yacht Club took command of their Committee / Support Boat. The bespoke vessel, a Maxus 9.2m Fast Cat, was designed by a committee within the club and project managed by Mr. Robert Kennedy, Rear Commodore and built by a team led by G Smyth Boats Foreman, Joel Chambers.
This vessel was the second support vessel for the company, Dublin Bay Sailing Club were the pioneers who came to us first for their support vessel, The Corinthian, delivered August 2024. We are grateful for them allowing Howth and other sailing clubs to visit their boat and provide the clubs with impartial information on their own build.
