Description

Inter-Nos is a 15m Maxus Catamaran, constructed in 2023 for owners Will Treneer, Elizabeth Lambourn and Sam Lambourn and is skippered by Will Treneer. Based in Newlyn, Cornwall, the vessel operates as a modern ring netter within the Cornish sardine fishery.
Developed as an extended version of our 12m Maxus Catamaran platform, Inter-Nos has been designed to maximise deck space, efficiency and catch handling. The catamaran hull provides excellent stability, while the overall layout has been carefully considered to reduce manual handling and improve workflow during fishing and landing operations.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D8 engines, paired with ZF gearboxes, the vessel delivers reliable and efficient performance, achieving a comfortable cruising speed alongside strong seakeeping capabilities suited to offshore operations.

The wheelhouse features a starboard control position with a full electronics suite, providing clear visibility and ease of operation. Below deck, the vessel includes a fully fitted galley and accommodation for crew, with a layout designed to maximise space while meeting regulatory requirements.
Inter-Nos is equipped with a comprehensive hydraulic and deck machinery package, including a Spencer Carter slave hauler, Triplex net hauler, and a telescopic Thistle Lift crane, supporting efficient handling of gear and catch. A peristaltic fish pump system and insulated storage arrangements allow for careful handling and preservation of catch quality.

Built with a strong focus on efficiency, innovation, and crew comfort, Inter-Nos represents a modern and highly capable addition to the Cornish pelagic fleet.
