G Smyth Boats first 15m Catamaran.

This vessel is the latest addition to Newlyn Harbour  ring netters. The Inter Nos was built for William Treneer, Elizabeth Lambourn and Sam Lambourn.

William , who will also Skipper the vessel, left Kilkeel Harbour on 19th December with his crew and made the journey to Newlyn in 30 hours.

On arrival into Newlyn harbour William's family joined Elizabeth and Sam Lambourn and family with streamers, banners, champagne and plenty of cheer to welcome the crew and the Inter Nos home.

Since early January they have been fishing sardines.

After years of thinking about building a Maxus Fast Catamaran, it is finally happening.

G Smyth Boats Limited has received support for research and development from Invest Northern Ireland under the European Union’s Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme.  This ‘Development of Fast Cat Prototype’ project will be implemented over the next 16 months, performing research and development activities aimed at improving competitiveness & developing customer efficiencies.

This project which is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020 aims to increase business efficiency.
