About

The GM7M is a 6.95m workboat designed by Gary Mitchell, developed as a practical and dependable platform for inshore and nearshore fishing operations.

With a beam of 2.8m and a depth of 1.88m, the vessel offers excellent stability and generous working deck space, giving fishermen the confidence and room needed for day-to-day commercial use.

A proven and widely trusted design, the GM7M has been a popular choice for fishermen throughout the 2010s, particularly in potting applications. It is one of our most far reaching vessels with boats as far away as Bermuda and Belgium. Its layout is focused on practicality and ease of use, providing a clear and functional working deck alongside a hull that is responsive, easily controlled and well suited to single-handed operation.

The GM7M is a robust, no-nonsense vessel built for those who require an economical and highly practical boat that delivers consistent performance over time.

The GM7M can be supplied as a loose set of mouldings, a full structure, or as a sail-away vessel. The loose set of mouldings consists of the hull, wheelhouse, wheelhouse roof whaleback and rails.
