EnquireDescription
The Francine is a GM7M vessel constructed in 2012 for owner and skipper Charles Beukels. Built alongside Girl Tracy and Caspian III, the vessel was exported to Belgium, where it operates on inshore fishing grounds.
Designed for a combination of mobile and static fisheries, the Francine is set up for both potting and shrimp trawling, providing the flexibility required for day-to-day commercial fishing operations. In accordance with Belgian fishing regulations, the vessel is fitted with anchor handling capstans mounted on the pot hauler, ensuring practical and compliant operation at sea.
Hydraulic changeover valves are also installed to allow efficient switching between potting and trawling setups, making the vessel highly adaptable to varying fishing demands. The vessel was also fitted with a full electronic equipment package supplied by Echomaster Marine, including a Simrad autopilot, Simrad navstations and transducer systems to support safe and efficient navigation.
