The Girl Tracy is a GM7M vessel constructed in 2012 for owner and skipper Freddy Aesaert. Built alongside Caspian III and Francine, the vessel was exported to Nieuwpoort, Belgium, where it operates on inshore fishing grounds.
Designed for a combination of mobile and static fisheries, the Girl Tracy is set up for both potting and shrimp trawling, providing the versatility needed for day-to-day commercial fishing operations. In accordance with Belgian fishing regulations, the vessel is fitted with anchor handling capstans positioned forward on the whaleback, ensuring practical and compliant operation at sea.
Hydraulic changeover valves are also installed to allow efficient switching between potting and trawling setups, making the vessel highly adaptable to varying fishing demands. Built for efficiency and ease of operation, the Girl Tracy is a dependable working vessel well suited to the requirements necessary.
